View Full Version : Wiki Challenge Rules and so forth

Welcome to the Wikipedia Challenge of the week!

If you don't know what Wikipedia is, it is here: http://www.wikipedia.com

Here is basically what your doing:

Click on the link I provide for you. Using a link on that page, and then the next one, and so forth, find the shortest amount of links between the two provided to you by me.

Make sense? If not PM me and we shall discuss it, or catch me on TS sometime.

A few quick rules (Effictive January 15th, 2007)

1. No using any dates, meaning months, years, dates, and so forth. It is too easy to get it in a short amount of clicks using dates.
2. All Entries are due by the following Sunday after the challenge is posted at 20:00 Central Time (8PM Texas Time)
3. All official Wiki Challenges will be posted by 'Wiki Challenge' All PMs need to be sent to the same person. Other users can post their own challenges, or give them to the Wiki Challenge Coordinator (Wiki Challenge) and They may be used for an official challenge. (Users can not participate in challenges they created.

You go to a Wiki article and use the blue links in that article to get to another. Like Japan-Qur'an
Japan-WWII
WWII-Suez Canal
Suez Canal-Egypt
Egypt-Islamic
Islamic-Qur'an

The little blue links in the articles to other articles, you use those to get from the one article to the other

One easy way to make sure you don't skip the final link is by going to it, so when you find it, it's highlighted in purple
