Word on the street is that the Alaska Wild owner has been talking to a second investor who would like to have an expansion team in Fairbanks for the 2008 season, if the Wild are still in the league.

The teams would probably end up playing each other about 4 times a year to reduce travel cost.

I would love to move to Alaska. Little tax, open carry, aviation out the wazoo. I want to fly up there after I get my license.

The IFL is an indoor football league with 6 teams in Texas 1 team in Louisiana and 1 team in Alaska.

Here's some highlights from Saturday nights preseason game in Big Spring between Odessa And San Angelo. It takes a while to get past the softball, but it's there.

In a market area of a quarter of a million we can't have AFL but IFL is pretty dern good. Besides for 10 bucks at a Roughnecks game your as close as the 75 dollar Austin Wranglers game.

GO ROUGHNECKS

Yeah the AFL tickets I think are a little over priced but I love it!

I've been to 3 Wranglers games, I get the $15 tickets up in the second level. At Roughnecks games I get the $10 dollar tickets and their real good, since they play in a 5,00 seat arena,

AFL tickets are still a lot better then NFL.

I've only made it to two roughneck games.

The Second Tyler and TAG were supposed to go to, but Tyler skipped town, so I took him. Got the cheapest Seats, then after alittle while the cheerleaders came up there, got us, and we went and sat in the back of a Toyota Pickup in the endzone :-D Took pictures with me cell phone, should upload them.

The Cheerleaders were right next to us, talked to some of the injured football players that were back there, was fun.

I would also like to point out that if you watched those highlights that's not our normal facility. That's at Howard collage in Big Spring about 60 miles East of Odessa on I-20. The town has over 25,00 people. The Roughnecks decided to play a preseason game there to try and attract fans from Big Spring.
